Snowtrac Film

For the production of two films, Vredestein asked Director Rogier Gerritsen to develop two scripts for their global product launch of the new Snowtrac 5 and Quatrac 5  tyres. The films will be used at exhibitions, online, commercials  and instore.

It became a two perspective epic story, about a photographer in search of his muse. Both  films are heavenly based on a musical driven theme.

The films were shot in Munich, Austria and the Netherlands, resulting in some truly breathtaking footage. The crew used a camera drone to film areals of the Alps.  The girl swimming, was shot on roof pool of the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the heart of Munich.

SLF Music producer: Nando Eweg (van Velzen) collaborated with Swedish hit songwriter Peter Kvint from Sweden (Britney Spears) for this project. The brief was to compose two songs with various moods. One should have a more uptempo rhythmic positive vibe and the other a more darker style, both building up to a climax.

The arrangements they composed for the films reflect the ambiance in the films and Vredestein’s brand values. “Buckle Up” (Quatrac 5) is an up tempo song with a super energetic electro-dance style, while “Home To Stay” (Snowtrac 5) has a more mysterious sound in the style of art electro pop/chamber pop reminiscent of artists like Lorde and Lana del Rey. Lyrics were written specifically for the two tracks to reflect the emotions and tension arcs of the films.
